About Us

Aloha and welcome to our little shop! We're so grateful you're here. Komi Keiki was started by me, Sarah, full-time worker and mom in search of a little more work-life balance. I was struggling emotionally, feeling like I wasn't able to give my all in anything I was doing. Komi Keiki was born as a way to be in control of which hat I was wearing and when, allowing me to give my full attention to mom life while mom-ing and work life while working. It’s also my creative outlet, which I haven’t been able to tap into much the past decade working as an RN in the school setting.

Some may know us as the Mixed Plate ʻOhana. We have two kiddos that are only 8 months apart in age! (I’ll give you a second to try to figure out the math on that one.) We were honored with the opportunity to foster-adopt our son and I feel so fortunate to have been able to give birth to our daughter. They’re like Irish twins, but my husband is Mexican, so we call them Mexican twins! You’ll find us at the local jiu jitsu academy, gymnastics gym, ballet studio, and horse stables. We truly believe in the power of aloha and enjoy giving back to our community any way possible, especially if it’s related to foster care and/or adoption or neurodiversity.

Inspired by all that we're surrounded by living life in paradise, I hope you feel the love in each piece of Hawaii you bring into your home for your keiki (children), so that we can share aloha through giggles and zzz's.
